• The Science BehindSkin dryness is one of the most common skin concerns. It is made worse by seasonal weather changes and modern lifestyles. Not only is dry skin uncomfortable, it's a visible problem, causing flakiness, fine lines and peeling makeup. Unfortunately, it’s not that easy and many usual day and night creams just don’t have the power to maintain skin moisture for a drier skin type or skin exposed to a dry environment.
  
  To solve the problem the Medik8 research team took a step back and asked some fundamental questions on how to moisturise the skin. It soon became clear it came down to three approaches with three different types of ingredients: increasing water content (humectants), preventing the rise of water to the upper skin surface (emollients), and minimising evaporation (occlusives).

1. After cleansing, apply as the last step of your evening skincare routine.
2. Smooth an almond-sized amount of Step 1 of H.E.O. Mask over face, neck and décolletage, avoiding the eye area.
3. Allow to absorb for a few minutes then gently massage another almond-sized amount of Step 2 of H.E.O. Mask into the same areas. Leave on overnight.
4. Apply 2-3 times a week or as required.
