Which AlumierMD serum should I start with?

It depends on your concern. For general anti-ageing and barrier support, Ultimate Boost. For brightening and antioxidant protection, EverActive C&E + Peptide. For lines, texture and resurfacing, start with Retinol Resurfacing 0.25. For sensitive, reactive skin, Calm-R. Book a free virtual consultation if you want personalised guidance.

How long until I see results from an AlumierMD serum?

Texture and hydration changes within 2–4 weeks. Tone, pigmentation and fine lines typically 8–12 weeks of consistent use. Retinol can show initial purging in weeks 2–4 before improving from week 6.

Can I layer AlumierMD serums?

Yes, but with care. EverActive C&E in the morning, retinol at night is a common pairing. Don't layer Vitamin C and Retinol at the same time. SensiCalm or Calm-R can buffer if you're using strong actives. Our consultation team can build the exact layering order for your skin.

Are AlumierMD retinols stronger than over-the-counter?

Yes. AlumierMD retinols come in 0.25%, 0.5% and 1.0% strengths — true clinical concentrations. Over-the-counter retinols are typically 0.01–0.1% or use retinyl esters (much weaker). That's why AlumierMD is sold only through authorised professionals.

Are AlumierMD serums safe in pregnancy?

Calm-R and Ultimate Boost are generally suitable. Retinol Resurfacing Serums must be avoided in pregnancy. Vitamin C is fine. If you're pregnant or trying to conceive, book a free consultation and we'll build a pregnancy-safe routine.
