What Is Ambergris Tincture?
Ambergris Tincture (INCI: AMBERGRIS TINCTURE) is a cosmetic ingredient listed in the EU CosIng inventory. Extracted with ethanol from the whale. Irregularly shaped gray, waxy opaque masses from the intestines of the sperm whale. It consists primarily of cholesterol, ambrein, and benzoic acid.
Its declared cosmetic function is perfuming.
