Avocado oil PEG-8 esters is a processed form of avocado oil, created by chemically combining the oil with polyethylene glycol (PEG). This modification makes the ingredient water-soluble, which distinguishes it from standard avocado oil and allows it to work effectively in a broader range of skincare formulations.In products, this ingredient serves multiple functions. It acts as an emollient to soften and condition the skin, while simultaneously helping to stabilise and blend oil and water-based components within a formula, acting as an emulsifier and mild surfactant.
