What Is Canadian Willowherb?
Canadian Willowherb is derived from Epilobium angustifolium, a flowering plant native to North America. This botanical extract has gained recognition in skincare for its dual action on inflammation and sebum production.
The extract contains oenothein B, a compound that helps inhibit 5-alpha reductase, the enzyme responsible for converting testosterone to DHT. This action helps regulate sebum production and reduce oiliness without over-drying the skin.
