Capryloyl Carnosine

Capryloyl carnosine is a synthetic compound made by combining carnosine (a naturally occurring dipeptide found in muscle tissue) with caprylic acid, a short-chain fatty acid. This pairing creates an ingredient with both peptide and lipid properties, designed to be more stable and penetrative than carnosine alone.In skincare formulations, it functions primarily as a skin conditioning agent.
