Copals. Extractives and their physically modified derivatives. It is a product which may contain resin acids and their esters, terpenes, and oxidation or polymerization products of these terpenes. (Trachylobium or Hymenaea courbaril, Leguminosae).
Its declared cosmetic functions are film forming and viscosity controlling.
