What Is Ellagic Acid?

Ellagic acid is a naturally occurring polyphenol antioxidant found in fruits, vegetables, and nuts such as pomegranates, strawberries, and walnuts. It helps improve the appearance of skin discolouration and reduces damage from UVA/UVB radiation. By inhibiting the production of enzymes that break down collagen, it helps prevent the appearance of wrinkles. Its antioxidant properties protect against environmental damage, resulting in a brighter, more even skin tone.
