What Is Isophthalic Acid …?

Isophthalic Acid/Pentaerythritol Crosspolymer Benzoate/Isostearate is a copolymer of Isophthalic Acid and Pentaerythritol which is end-capped with Benzoic Acid or Isostearic Acid; 1,3-Benzenedicarboxylic Acid, Polymer with 2,2-Bis(Hydroxymethyl-1,3-Propanediol, Benzoate Isooctadecanoate.

Its declared cosmetic functions are film forming and viscosity controlling.
