What Is Magnesium Palmitoyl Glutamate?
Magnesium palmitoyl glutamate is an amino acid (glutamic acid) and mineral (magnesium) blend that conditions and softens skin. It can be synthetic, animal-derived, or can come from plants, with opting to use the plant-derived version. Magnesium palmitoyl glutamate is often used as part of a blend with other amino acids. It is considered safe as used in cosmetics. The magnesium portion easily penetrates skin's uppermost layers where it delivers this micro-nutrient's hydration-boosting benefits.
