What Is Plasmalogens?

Plasmalogens are phosphoglycerides found primarily in neural tissue and are characterized by a vinyl ether linkage with a fatty alcohol at the sn-1 position and an ester linkage with an unsaturated fatty acid at the sn-2 position.

Its declared cosmetic function is antioxidant.
