Additional evidence from a split-face study indicated that a cream containing argan oil combined with shea butter and other ingredients helped support skin recovery following fractional CO₂ laser treatment. These findings are encouraging but modest in scope; the ingredient's benefits are typically seen as part of a multi-component formulation rather than from argan oil in isolation.
