What Is Cacao Seed Extract?
Cacao seed extract is derived from the same beans used to make chocolate. It contains cocoa polyphenols, including catechins and procyanidins, with potent antioxidant properties.
These polyphenols protect against UV damage and oxidative stress while promoting blood flow to the skin. The result is improved skin texture and a healthier appearance.
Cacao also contains theobromine, which has mild stimulating effects that can help energise tired skin.
