What Is Cold-Pressed Safflower Oil?
Cold-pressed safflower oil is extracted from safflower seeds without heat, preserving its high linoleic acid content. High-linoleic safflower oil is particularly beneficial for acne-prone and oily skin types.
Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid that many acne-prone individuals are deficient in. Topical application helps normalise sebum composition and can reduce the formation of clogged pores.
The oil is lightweight, non-comedogenic, and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue.
