How It Works
DEP works primarily as a plasticiser, meaning it softens and increases the flexibility of polymer films and product matrices. When applied to skin, it can penetrate the outer layers and form a thin film that improves product feel and adherence.
In formulations, DEP acts as a solvent that helps dissolve and distribute other ingredients evenly throughout the product, ensuring consistent texture and performance.
