What Is Ethylcellulose?
Ethylcellulose is a semi-synthetic polymer derived from cellulose, a natural fibre found in plant cell walls. In skincare, it functions primarily as a binder and film-former—meaning it helps ingredients stick together and creates a protective layer on the skin's surface.
