What Is Hydrolyzed Hydroxypropyl Starch Octenylsuccinate?
Hydrolyzed Hydroxypropyl Starch Octenylsuccinate is the product obtained by the reaction of octenylsuccinic anhydride with the hydrolysate of Hydroxypropyl Starch derived by acid, enzyme or other method of hydrolysis.
Its declared cosmetic functions are antiplaque, emulsion stabilising, hair conditioning, hair fixing, humectant, skin conditioning, surfactant and viscosity controlling.
