Polyquaternium-6 is a positively charged polymer (a long-chain molecule) derived from cellulose or synthetic sources. It belongs to a class of ingredients called quaternary ammonium compounds, which are widely used in personal care formulations.In skincare and haircare products, polyquaternium-6 functions primarily as a conditioning and film-forming agent.
