What Is R-Porcine Polypeptide-1?
r-Porcine Polypeptide-1 is a single chain recombinant porcine protein produced by fermentation in E. coli. The starting gene is directly isolated from a porcine source which codes for Epidermal Growth Factor. The protein contains a maximum of 1214 amino acids and consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
Its declared cosmetic functions are astringent, humectant and skin conditioning.
