Acetyl Octapeptide-3, also known as SNAP-8, is an evolution of Argireline (Acetyl Hexapeptide-8) with two additional amino acids. This extended sequence may provide enhanced muscle-relaxing effects for reducing expression lines.
The peptide works by interfering with the SNARE complex formation needed for neurotransmitter release at the neuromuscular junction. This reduces muscle contraction intensity, softening the appearance of dynamic wrinkles.
