What Is Dipotassium Phosphate?

A synthetic salt that helps to adjust and maintain the pH of water-based and water soluble cosmetic formulas. Dipotassium phosphate is also used in foods as a buffering agent to improve food texture, where it has GRAS (generally recognized as safe) status.
