What Is Lycopene?
Lycopene is a bright red carotenoid found abundantly in tomatoes and other red fruits. It is one of the most potent antioxidants in nature, with exceptional ability to neutralise free radicals and protect against UV-induced damage.
Studies suggest lycopene may help protect skin from sun damage and support the skin's natural defences against photoageing. Its antioxidant capacity is among the highest of all carotenoids.
