Oleic Acid is a monounsaturated omega-9 fatty acid abundant in olive oil, avocado oil, and other plant oils. It provides excellent emollient properties and helps other ingredients penetrate the skin barrier.
While beneficial for dry skin, oleic acid can be comedogenic for acne-prone individuals. It is best suited for normal to dry skin types seeking deep moisturisation.
