What Is Phloretin?

Phloretin is a naturally occurring flavonoid found in apples and apple tree bark. It provides potent antioxidant protection and has been shown to enhance the photoprotective effects of Vitamin C when used together.

SkinCeuticals pioneered the combination of Phloretin with Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid, demonstrating synergistic protection against oxidative stress and UV damage. This compound also inhibits melanin production for brightening benefits.
