Triceteareth-4 Phosphate

Triceteareth-4 Phosphate is a synthetic emulsifying agent derived from fatty alcohols and phosphoric acid. It belongs to a class of ingredients called surfactants, which have a molecular structure that allows them to bind both oily and water-based components together.In skincare products, it functions primarily as an emulsifier — helping to create stable, uniform textures in creams, lotions and serums that would otherwise separate into their oil and water layers. It is used sparingly in formulations, typically at very low concentrations.
