What Is R-Bovine Octapeptide-1?
r-Bovine Octapeptide-1 is a single chain recombinant bovine protein fragment produced by fermentation in E. coli. The starting gene is directly isolated from a bovine source which codes for Beta-Lactoglobulin. The protein contains a maximum of 178 amino acids and consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
Its declared cosmetic function is skin conditioning.
