r- Escherichia Coli Thioredoxin-1 Heptapeptide-20 Hexapeptide-40 Oligopeptide-113 sh-Polypeptide-70 is a single chain recombinant fusion peptide produced by fermentation in E. coli. The starting gene is synthesized by the fusion of the gene from r-Escherichia Coli Thioredoxin-1, Heptapeptide-20, Hexapeptide-40, Oligopeptide-113 and sh-Polypeptide-70. The fused peptide contains 274 amino acids and consists of the proper sequence of the 20 standard amino acids.
Its declared cosmetic function is skin protecting.
