What Is Tea-EDTA?
Tea-EDTA (triethanolamine ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid) is a chelating agent—a chemical that binds to metal ions in formulations. It's derived from ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) combined with triethanolamine, and functions to stabilise skincare and cosmetic products by preventing unwanted chemical reactions that metals can trigger.
