What Is Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate?
Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) is a stable, water-soluble derivative of Vitamin C that has been extensively studied for its skin benefits. Unlike pure ascorbic acid, MAP remains stable at higher pH levels and does not cause the stinging or irritation often associated with traditional Vitamin C serums.
This gentle yet effective antioxidant is converted to ascorbic acid within the skin, where it provides brightening and protective benefits. Its excellent tolerability makes it ideal for those with sensitive or reactive skin who cannot use L-ascorbic acid formulations.
