What Is Centella Asiatica Derivatives?

Centella asiatica derivatives are the isolated active compounds from the cica plant: asiaticoside, asiatic acid, and madecassic acid. These purified forms deliver concentrated benefits without the variability of whole plant extracts.

Asiaticoside stimulates collagen synthesis and promotes wound healing. Asiatic acid and madecassic acid have potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Together, they support skin repair and barrier function.

These derivatives are often combined in specific ratios for optimal efficacy in treating damaged or compromised skin.
