What Is Centella Asiatica Extract?
Centella Asiatica Extract, known as Cica or Tiger Grass, is derived from a plant traditionally used in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine for wound healing. It contains triterpene saponins including asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid, and madecassic acid.
This powerhouse botanical has become a cornerstone of K-beauty and sensitive skin formulations. It excels at calming inflammation, strengthening the skin barrier, and supporting the skin's natural healing processes without irritation.
